Team HT Made My 2009 An Annus Mirabilis

Most people started 2009 with acute trepidation but, hey, we are nearly through it and there have been a surprising, but very welcome, number of highs here at HT. We have done some great work and won some very competitive pitches - McCarthy & Stone, Nicholson's and Miller & Carter to name a few recent triumphs.

But one especially unexpected upside of the current economic climate is that people have just got their heads down and got on with it. Focusing on the things we can actually do something about.

Staff churn is at its lowest level in over 10 years. And because the team has been so stable, coupled with a real focus by the senior players, team spirit has really thrived. Many members of staff have been going through their first recession, but they have just knuckled down. So I would just like to say a massive, massive public thank you to Team HT - you have done yourselves proud.

Haslimann Taylor Reveals Life Saving Snaps!

Haslimann Taylor has revealed the 12 photographs which will appear in an exclusive calendar to raise awareness of Mountain Rescue, following an appeal for images on behalf of client Goodyear.
The Mountain Rescue 2010 calendar is made up of snapshots from across England and Wales, as seen through the eyes of outdoor enthusiasts. Supported by tyre giant Goodyear, official safety partner to the lifesaving organisation, the calendar will be sold in aid of the charity which relies entirely on a network of volunteers and donated funds.

Megan Woods, account manager, said: “We have been overwhelmed at the standard and number of entries received for this competition. It’s great to see so many people wanting to show their support for this lifesaving charity.

“We’ve very much enjoyed working with Mountain Rescue to create this calendar, help raise additional funds for the charity and draw attention to the fantastic work they do.”

Andy Simpson, spokesperson for Mountain Rescue, added: “Our volunteers have access to some of the most breathtaking views, but due to the nature of search and rescue operations, they don’t often get the chance to appreciate it.

“This calendar is a fantastic way to draw people’s attention to our organisation and raise the funds necessary for us to continue providing top level assistance to those that find themselves in difficulty.”

The calendar is available with a recommended donation of £5 from www.mountain.rescue.org.uk, as well as through individual Mountain Rescue teams.
